Organizational Transformation

Banco Agrícola sought to integrate a generation of experience-based knowledge and capabilities into their team. Recognizing that transformation stems from both understanding and practical challenges, the bank aimed to enhance its team’s Design Thinking skills. The goal was to infuse practical, real-life design challenges and collaborative teamwork into their processes, elevating their approach to user-focused solutions.

We identified that the team required hands-on, practical experience in Design Thinking to effectively translate knowledge into transformative outcomes.
Key opportunities included the need for immersive learning experiences and actionable strategies to embed design capabilities within the bank’s culture
and workflows.

Our approach began with understanding the needs and perspectives of Banco Agrícola’s teams. We developed tailored action plans to build new design capabilities rooted in user-centric principles. This included creating knowledge capsules, organizing work sessions, and facilitating retrospective spaces to foster co-creation and ideation.

We provided practical, real-world challenges through these capsules, enabling team members to engage deeply with the Design Thinking methodology. Each cycle was designed to equip the teams with the tools and insights necessary to implement a user-focused approach effectively.

Over several months, we collaborated closely with the bank’s teams, leading them through hands-on learning and experimentation. This process culminated in the delivery of a high-fidelity prototype that addressed real user needs and desires, alongside the development of internal knowledge that the bank could continue to build upon independently.

The project empowered Banco Agrícola’s teams with robust Design Thinking capabilities, enabling them to approach challenges with a user-centered mindset. The high-fidelity prototype served as a tangible outcome of the learning process, demonstrating the potential of design-driven solutions. The internal knowledge and skills gained through the project are now being replicated within the bank, fostering a culture of innovation and user-focused design.
